"CAN'T FIGHT OVER IYANYA" - TINSEL'S URU EKE.
Hmm... Uru(Delectable)Eke... just can't figure out why I like this lady so much...maybe cos she's quite unique in terms of beauty and acting prowess. Apart from Tinsel, She has also been in Dark Side alongside leading man, Joseph Benjamin and Amina alongside Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde and others.
The actress who moved from the United States late last year, spoke honestly about her career, the Nollywood tradition, during an interview with Popular TV Presenter, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu and she was refreshingly candid in answering the trivia! Continue below, to read the interview:
EBUKA: Do you wish you were sometimes Tonto Dikeh?
URU: No (Laughter). I can't deal with that much drama.
EBUKA: You've heard about the Tonto-Iyanya-Yvonne Nelson love drama. Would you fight for Iyanya?
URU: Oh, no way. Because he is not my 'spec' (laughter).
EBUKA: Who is a better actress - Rita Dominic, Genevieve Nnaji or Nse Ikpe-Etim?
URU: (Long laughter) No you can't do that to me. None of the above… oh, sorry I mean all of the above. All of the above please!
EBUKA: Who will you take home: Dbanj, Jim Iyke, Iyanya or me?
URU: You, of course. You should know that already. We are both Okija now!
EBUKA: Amala or Ugba?
URU: Ugba definitely. But I can't make it. I didn't go with my mum into the kitchen when she was making it.
EBUKA: Which actor won't you be caught dead with?
URU: Babasuwe. I feel he will make me look like an idiot!
EBUKA: What is your state of mind right now?
URU: That you don't ask me another question I can't answer.
EBUKA: Did you see the recent Channels documentary on the Ikeja police college? What are your thoughts?
URU: Sad. I felt ashamed. So ashamed. I could go on…
EBUKA: If you had to be born again, what country will it be?
URU: America. I love the United States. I love the country. The spirit. The vibe. I'll be moving there at some point.
EBUKA: What other talent do you have, singing?
URU: None. Maybe dancing. Yes, I'd like to dance for P-square. That would be fun!
